A step into the future
The companion app aims to simplify interaction with vehicles. The app primarily offers two major features: seamless logging into streaming services on the vehicle's head unit and the sending and immediate playback of media content from the smartphone. To make interaction as easy as possible, a passwordless login is used to authenticate the user. The vehicle is connected to the smartphone app via Bluetooth and can thus always transmit the necessary data as soon as you enter the vehicle. This eliminates the need to set up streaming apps again in front of the steering wheel and all data remains synchronized.

Our team consists of national and international MI and MM bachelor students who are
conducting an interdisciplinary project at the HdM with the aim of enriching and
expanding the automotive industry with new ideas.
